Restorative Dentistry
Restore a damaged or weakened tooth with a custom-fitted porcelain crown — often completed in a single visit with our in-office CAD/CAM technology.
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that fits over a damaged, weakened, or cosmetically imperfect tooth. Crowns restore the tooth's shape, strength, and appearance while protecting it from further damage. They're one of the most common and versatile restorations in dentistry.
Using our 3Shape TRIOS digital scanner and in-office CAD/CAM milling system, we can design, fabricate, and place your permanent porcelain crown in a single visit — typically about 90 minutes. No messy impression trays, no temporary crowns, no second appointment.
Crowns are recommended after root canal therapy, for teeth with large fillings that have weakened the structure, for cracked or fractured teeth, and as part of a dental bridge. They're also used cosmetically to improve the appearance of misshapen or severely discolored teeth.
A well-maintained porcelain crown typically lasts 10–15 years or longer. Our Guarantee of Workmanship covers crowns for 5 years.
The tooth is numbed with local anesthesia, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. Some sensitivity is normal for a few days afterward.
